Dave Herder asked me the night before regionals how I could keep doing it. Work until 11 at FNM, then eat, do some prep, and maybe drink and party until about 3am, then sleep for 2hours and go play a tournament in Vancouver. I replied that I felt I really had no choice. Even if I was off work at 6pm the day before my trip to Vancouver I would still probably stay up until the wee hours with excitement.

I applied to be a judge at Canadian Nationals, and John Carter picked me among 3 judges from BC to fly out to Toronto. Will, Max, and I were the lucky ones, and we all flew out within two rows of each other on the same plane.

When they killed Prismatic for tournament play on MtGO, they created a new format to take its place, called Kaleidoscope. Kaleidoscope uses the extended cardpool, and every non-land card in your deck must be multicolored.
